Ella Webber is full of insecurity and has a true lack of experience with the opposite sex. But she has met the love of her life – Declan Stone. Although they’ve become friends, she’s sure Declan wants nothing more to do with her since she put on a brave face asked him over for dinner. Little does she know, Declan just doesn’t think he’s good enough for sweet, innocent Ella. With the help of her friends at Danvers International, Ella puts a plan in place to make him jealous and it works like a charm. This is a story about true love, and how the right partner will always put your needs first. Declan does exactly that, making sure Ella truly knows what she wants. Ella has a bit of a sassy side, but her innocence softens Declan. Declan is out of the military and still struggling with a truly horrific event he feels responsible for, while getting hit with some additional news that shakes him to the core. Ms. Landon also reconnects us with Beth and Nick. When Beth goes into labor, we are treated to funny dialogue thanks to Nick! I’m totally in love with the entire Danvers series, as Ms. Landon continues to deliver beautiful stories with HOT, HOT, HOT sex!! The characters from the first three books are woven into the storyline with ease, and Suzy is still a hoot! Just the like the first three books, this one is dialogue driven with awesome secondary characters that are easy to care about. There’s no cliffhanger, just a very romantic close to a beautiful love story. Even though this is the fourth installment in the series, it can be read as a standalone novel.
