Maggie Young is the most normal girl on the planet. Clayton Reed is anything but … normal. In a chance to start over, Clay moves in with his aunt and literally runs into Maggie. A friendship develops, but Clay still harbors secrets. This is not a typical romance, but is very passionate and deep, as we quickly learn Clay suffers from Bipolar Disorder and Depression. The entire story is an intense ride on an emotional roller coaster because Maggie believes their love and her strength can save Clay. The entire concept of this story was unlike anything I had read before. I didn’t get my happily ever after I typically crave, but the story touched me. I enjoyed the ending – it WAS realistic. Thank GOD for great parents and true BFFs who take control of situations that are out of control! The writing was incredible, and the plot was riveting. I loved Rachel and Daniel, and felt connected to Maggie’s mom. There is great balance between some serious dialogue and descriptive background information that keeps the story flowing
