This is the story of Blaire and Rush. Blaire has a very rough five years. First her twin dies in a car accident. Her father unable to cope with being the driver of that car leaves her and her mother and quickly remarries an old flame. Then her mother dies after battling cancer for three years. OH, one more … the boyfriend she thought she’d love forever decided her troubles weren’t for him. Blaire contacts her father for help – she has no money, no home, and no family. What she walks into will change her life forever. Her father sends her to her step-brother’s house – Rush Finlay, son of a famous rock star. Rush has no direction to his life … until he meets Blaire. I have one problem with this book  – the plot is a bit weak. There’s just a whole bunch of events that are never really tied together. Also, I have to ask, who proofread the e-reader edition? There are way too many grammatical, punctuation, and misplaced words for a professionally published book. So why did I keep reading – I liked both characters A LOT! This is also a dialogue driven story which pulls me in every single time. The supporting characters were dropped in at important points – AND I LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! So many great characters will keep me coming back for more!
