I wanted to give this book FIVE HEARTS, but there is just way too much angst for me in this one. This is the story of Amanda, “Tweet” and Noah. I absolutely LOVED the first few chapters, and thought this is going to be that book!! BUT – there were so many times I wanted to reach into the book grab a hold of “Tweet’s” shoulders and just shake her senseless!! Here’s what is great – the supporting characters are phenomenal! I hated almost every girl Tweet and Noah came in contact with. I wasn’t a fan of Tweet’s parents. Loved her sister Emily and I can’t wait for Brad’s story (Bailey’s next book). There were A LOT of twists and turns I didn’t see coming. The second half of the book had me tied up in knots and I was crying while I road an extremely bumpy emotional roller coaster!! All the experiences are dialogue driven which is the best way to understand characters. Read at your own risk – you’ll need a box of Kleenex and a full bottle of wine.
